Private Lessons allow our teachers to provide a personal, tailored set of challenges and goals, ensuring that the learning process is designed for each student's needs. We offer Classical and Contemporary streams, allowing us to provide an education pathway that caters for you. Classical Stream is available for Voice, Piano, Strings, Woodwind and Brass.  Students in this stream have the opportunity to study for Exam Gradings through ABRSM, ACM, AMEB, ANZCA and Trinity Guild Hall exam boards.  We also offer our students the chance to perform in a public setting at least once per semester! Contemporary Stream is available for Acoustic, Electric and Bass Guitars, as well as Keyboard and Percussion.  It offers students the opportunity to join Ensemble Lessons to engage in cooperative play.  Students can also join our innovative Certificate Courses program, run in conjunction with JazzWORX! Music Institute and allowing students to gain significant credit points towards their QCE results. Theory lessons are also available on request. Our Private Tuition lessons take the form of half-hour weekly sessions and are held in our own premises at Level 1, 1513 Logan Road, Mount Gravatt 4122.  Enrol today. Terms and Conditions Lessons All lessons are conducted by qualified teachers in their field of expertise at our premises. All courses follow the State School calendar. Lessons have varying duration depending on the type of tuition and group sizes. Private tuition lesson 30 minutes Group lesson 45 minutes to 1 hour (relevant to group size) Certificate Course classes 45 minutes to 1 hour (relevant to group size) Theory Classes 45 minutes Theory Private 30 minutes Ensemble Lessons 45 minutes (relevant to group size) Early Childhood Music Program classes 30-35 minutes (relevant to group size) Camps and Special Events TBA All classes are held on a weekly basis during School Terms and should be strictly adhered to. Any changes in lesson times should be notified via MSA Administration. 24 hours notice is required if a student is unable to attend a lesson, otherwise the lesson will be charged for. Cancellation lessons with sufficient notice will be carried forward in credit. In the advent that a student is unable to attend due to sickness, MSA Administration must be notified as soon as possible so that alternative arrangements may be made. Non attendance and notification of illness after the lesson may result in forfeiture of that lesson. Should the assigned teacher be absent for any reason, a replacement teacher may be used, without notice, in order to ensure the continuity of lessons. In case of termination of studies, a two-week termination notice is required. A charge of $30.00 as cancellation fee will otherwise be charged. Enrolment is carried forward to the next term or year, unless notice of termination is given to MSA Administration. Any change of contact details should be notified immediately to MSA Administration. Schedule of Fees The following fee structure applies to classes offered by Music School Australia. These prices are current as of November 17, 2007 and are subject to change without further notice. Material costs extra All fees are invoiced each term and are to be paid in advance by the first lesson of each term.
