Private Lessons

Private music tuition is the optimal solution for musicians seeking to reach their full musical potential.  These lessons allow our teachers to provide a personal, tailored set of challenges and goals, ensuring that the learning process is designed for the student's individual needs.

At MSA we recognise that music education is constantly evolving.  Hence we have divided our Private Lessons program into classical and contemporary streams, allowing us to provide an education pathway that caters for you, no matter where your taste in music lies.

Classical Stream | Vocal | Piano | Strings | Woodwind | Brass

Students in this stream have the opportunity to study for Exam Gradings through ABRSM, ACM, AMEB, ANZCA and Trinity Guild Hall examination boards.  These exam gradings help progressively develop the student's technical ability and as such are an integral part of their classical music study.  We also offer our students the opportunity to perform in a public setting at least once per semester.

 
Contemporary Stream |  Acoustic, Electric and Bass Guitar | Keyboard | Percussion

Contemporary Stream offers students the opportunity to join Ensemble Lessons once they reach a particular level of expertise.  We also offer Certificate Courses through our partnership with Jazzworx! Music Institute, allowing our students to gain to 22 points towards their QCE results!
